Avoidant and emotionally unavailable parents are complicated.

Sometimes Avoidant Parents can be difficult to understand and live with.

While they are battling challenges of their own, they are creating challenges for the children they have decided to have and raise.

Unfortunately, parents with avoidant personality are so afraid of criticism, judgment, critiquing, etc. that they hold their children back from living #Life.

What is rarely mentioned about these kind of parents is that they prevent — intentionally or unintentionally — the healthy development of their children because of their own fear.

These parents are battling a lot of unresolved issues within themselves and perhaps even a traumatic history.
