Living with the abuser
Living with an abuser — especially in a toxic family — can began as young as infancy and continue on into adulthood.
Once you became an adult, you may have already experienced the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of the abuser more often than you should have.
You may have to have lived with a toxic family member because of low income, living arrangements, or some other reason that exposed you to their negative behaviors on a daily basis.
You may currently be in a marriage or relationship where abuse is a daily occurrence.
In this live chat, I discuss the psychology of identifying and living with the abuser.
