NARCISSISM: What Does COERCIVE CONTROL Look Like?
Narcissism can look a lot like coercive control.
In some cases, it is.
Dysfunctional, narcissistic, or self-centered family members can behave in ways that cause you to question if they are aware of the things they do that harm other people.
It’s important to keep in mind that most narcissists don’t know they are narcissistic and often believe that their behaviors are justified or “normal.”
As a result, family members may struggle to see the narcissists behaviors as harmful — and allow certain patterns of behavior to occur or repeat over generations which can give “birth” to evil “weapons” — such as passive aggressive behavior, pathological lying, sneaky and vindictive behavior, and something known as COERCIVE CONTROL. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTQqHbS-WNw
