It’s important to understand that in order to progress and heal in counseling you need to have the right team player. Without the right team player you risk losing your ability to grow, change, and function. Having the wrong therapist can result in “iatrogenic neurosis” including a variety of other symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and even PTSD.
