TRAUMATIC BONDING In Your Family

Traumatic Bonding is a complicated topic.

Traumatic bonding is a painful experience of emotional extortion, abuse, and psychological injury.

Experiencing the feeling of being trapped in a relationship with someone — especially a parent or family member — can cause you psychological and physical distress.

Traumatic bonding is one type of “trap” that you may struggle with getting out of.

In this kind of “bond” or trap you may already know the bond is unhealthy or dysfunctional but cannot figure out how to detach from the relationship.

You may be guilted into staying, gaslighted, stonewalled, manipulated, triangulated, and even physically abused.

In this video, I discuss the basics of traumatic bonding and identifying if you may be in one yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8pUTxDlqAA
