Understanding Post Traumatic Psychosis requires an understanding of PTSD.
It’s a sad reality but Post Traumatic Psychosis is an under-reported and under-studied condition that impacts many.
Post Traumatic Psychosis can involve delusions and hallucinations.
It can also include thought disturbance and impact the way that you see the world.
In this video, I discuss a phenomenon known as post traumatic psychosis. The behaviors of hospital staff and other mental health therapists, an involuntary commitment, coercive treatments, a bad experience with a mental health group, and even the experience of trauma itself can trigger PTSD with psychotic symptoms.
