Healing from PTSD or family trauma requires resilience. Resilience is almost like a muscle in the body.

It can be developed over time with the right tools including the right exposure to social support, coping skills, and internal motivation.

Resilience seems to have a bio-psycho-social foundation which means that resilience is influenced by: -genes (who you have been designed to be in your life), -psychology (how you see yourself, the situation, the world, etc), and -social (the people around you, etc) influence.
