Sometimes there are behaviors in the family (or in yourself) that may shock you and cause you to wonder if there is something psychologically serious going on. In most cases the behaviors can be best explained by depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, or some other mental health concern. But in some cases, the best explanation for odd, bizarre, fluctuating, or emotionally labile behaviors and moods is TBI – traumatic brain injury. The brain is an interesting organ and it perplexes even the most intellectually astute and research-oriented among us. We can’t always explain the brain and when we do explain it with what little knowledge we have, we are STILL limited.
