When Your Family Gaslight’s You
When your family gaslight’s you or misunderstand’s you it’s very easy for you to doubt your reality.
It’s a healthy desire in a relational context to want to be believed.
No one wants to experience trauma or abuse and not be believed by people who are close to them.
In a toxic family dynamic, it is common for family members to question the experiences of other family members.
But for trustworthy and reliable family member, it is a painful thing to be discredited and not believed.

You may become the blackseep or the scapegoat or the one nobody considers significant in the family.
